This place is baller. Wish I still lived on the hill for it... UCLA has the best food options in the country, and this just affirms that. Pizzas, paninis, salads, you name it. Not to mention, GELATO, at a public university, that can be used for swipes. People say there's a freshman 15, and this is the reason why. The food is delicious and consistent. Service itself is great, although the wait times for the pizza's can be a bit long because they make each individual one to order. I usually get the genova pizza (pesto and chicken) or the mushroom sausage or pepperoni. So cheesy, so good.
Located on the Hill so no parking! -

Cafe 1919 sells the best pizza ever. I don't particularly like pizza, but pizza here is so good. They put a good amount of cheese and the toppings go well together. I always get the shrimp scampi. This place is good but I don't come here particularly often because it's a lot of calories.

The pizzas here are extremely delicious but the Study at Hedrick's custom pizza comes very close to the competition. I occasionally come to this place to eat, but unfortunately this is my least visited spot on the Hill.
I tried the gelato and it was amazing. Macarons were decent, but not worth a swipe. -

This is one of the more high quality take-out restaurants at UCLA. Their salmon salad is really good (I don't know what the orange coloured dressing is that they give out but it's delicious) and it comes with a fresh roll!
Gelato is amazing and generous servings, but sorbet is wayyyyy too sugary and sweet, tastes like candy rather than fruit.
Tip: if you get a brownie or cookie, ask them to heat it for you before they put gelato on top!
My friends love the lasagna and it's all round a good late night option. -
